The Down Works is a family run business. Nick and Shelley Gravem met while attending UC Santa Cruz. Their passion for the outdoors (and Shelley’s skill at sewing) led to the founding of the Down Works in 1974. Since then, they have enjoyed sharing their knowledge with customers and exploring the wilderness together.
